Was Any One Else Dissapointed With Order Of The Phoenix?

The Movie had great effects and other money spending benifits… but the story was completly discarded.
The relationship between the quibbler and Luna wasn’t mentioned, For non readers, This is what cleared Harry’s name from the death of Sedrick.
The Politics of Hermione and the E.L.F was completely cut out and how she tryed to change the way that house elves were treated.
How the house elf we see briefly is very important as far as serving the dark lords.
The Story line of how Harry isn’t even interested in Chang anymore! He is slowly developing something for Ron’s sister Jenny!!
The story line of how Ron and Harry fall out lots through out thte book.
The hospital sene with Ron’s dad is VERY important and you don’t even see that!!
Hagrids relationship with his brother, no one even knows where that came from! His brother didn’t even do anyting in the movie but develop a crush on Hermione!
Tunks was seen in the end for .3 secs. No connection there.

Bl!tz… Your spoilers are all hearsay. Someone claimed to have broken into a computer at Bloomsbury Publishing but whether or not she did will come out on the 21st. Rowling said 2 main characters will die, not all but 2.
Anyway… I enjoyed the movie. The stuff they left out from the book was nothing of major importance to the story. They fit the almost 900 page book into 2 hours pretty well. If they had included all the “insignificant” stuff some people are complaining about it would have been a very, very long movie, and I doubt many poeple would have wanted to sit through a 4, 5, or 6 hour movie.

I think we just have to remember that there is no way you can fit all of it into a 2 1/2 hour movie.
By the way, you spelled almost everyone’s name wrong in your question.
It’s Cedrick not Sedrick, Ginny not Jenny, and Tonks not Tunks!

I really liked it. But then again I saw it in IMAX 3D. Same movie you saw but the 3D was the best I’ve ever seen!

I didn’t like it at all, the whole movie seemed rushed and if you aren’t familiar with the books the movie would not have made any sense.
    ****SPOILER***
The Deathly Hallows are Harry’s invisibility cloak which has been passed down from generation to generation, a stone that brings back the dead which is hidden in the snitch Harry first caught in his mouth left to him by Dumbledore in his will and the elder wand hidden in Dumbledore’s tomb, which is taken by Voldemort.
R.A.B. is actually Sirius’ brother Regulus in spite from what Voldemort did to him. After he died in the cave he left the task to Kreacher to destroy the locket but Kreacher was unable to even open it.
The horcruxes are the locket stolen by Kreacher then by Mundugus then stolen by Umbridge then taken by Harry.Destroyed by Ron with the Gryfindor sword.
The Hufflepuff goblet hidden in Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault in Gringotts. Destroyed by Hermoine with a Basilisk fang.
The Diadem of Ravenclaw hiddden in the room of requirement next to where Harry hid the Half-blood Prince potion book. Destroyed by Crabbe’s cursed fire spell.
Nangini, Voldemort’s snake. Destroyed by Neville with the Grryfindor sword.
And finally Harry’s scar. Destroyed with Voldemort’s killing curse.
Snape was actually working with Dumbledore the whole time, Dumbledore himslef planned his own death, the curse on his hand was growing more and more every day. Snape was truly repenting sending Voldemort after Harry’s mom, he was in love with her, his patronus was even a doe, just like Lily Potter, Harry’s mother.
    Here’s who really dies.
muggle studies teacher killed be Voldemort
Hedwig killed by a Death Eater
Mad-eye killed by a Death Eater
Tonk’s father killed by Death Eaters
the minister of magic killed by Voldemort and Death Eaters
Wormtail killed by his own silver hand
    Dobby killed by Bellatrix LeStrange
Crabbe by his own ‘cursed fire’ spell
Fred killed by a Death Eater at the final battle at Hogwarts
Lupin (not specified, killed at the final battle)
Tonks (side by side with her husband Lupin)
    Snape killed by Voldemort
Colin Crevey by Death Eaters at the final battle
Bellatrix Lestrange killed by Mrs. Weasley.
Voldemort killed by who else; Harry.
And about 50 students at Hogwarts names not specified.
And Ron or Hermione DO NOT die.

No I was not impressed. I thought the movie was a huge disappointment.
First of all, I hate how the filmmakers always change something in the movies. Like how they changed the dementors appearance. And since when did Dudley talk like that? He spoke pretty normal in the other films. I mean, I know he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but it was just ridiculous.
And if you hadn’t read the book, how are you supposed to know who Mrs. Figg is. They never told us about her in an earlier film, and now she just shows up. My friends who I saw the movie with werre all asking me who she was.
I agree that the movie was rushed. The films these days leave out key points just to put something in that is unnecessary.
And who is this Nigel kid? Why are they adding character. I would have rather have seen Zacharias Smith being a brat than some kid I have never head of before.
I was disappointed with how they handled the Cho/Harry relationship as well. I mean, Harry knows that Cho was forced to tell about the DA, so if the book never happened I imagine Harry would go back to Cho??? They should have just had an argument about Cedric and said it was done.

hahahaha keebler noticed the same things I did. For someone complaining about the movie you can’t spell their names right. But I was a little disappointed with the movie. but then again I think all the movies are like that they miss important details.

it was an over all good movie but they were missing waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay 2 much stuff!!! like i thot the acting and the story line was good, and if u dont read the books then it wud hav been fine except 4 a few details. but if u do read the books then a lot of important details were missing. i think they focused 2 much on the darkness of the book and not enough on the details that lots of ppl noticed wernt there. and they focused way 2 much on cho chang!!! shes important, but not as important as they made her seem.
